New! This book was recommended to us by cousin Judy. (Thanks, Judy!). The projects are very artistically designed and beautiful; the instructions are straightfoward and concise; and the photos are clear and helpful. There are 28 projects, half using the copper foil method of construction, and half using lead came. There are instructions at the beginning of the book on the basic techniques of how to create using stained glass, and then specific instructions on copper foil and lead techniques at the beginning of each respective section. There aren't a lot of pictures of these techniques, so this book might not be a good one for the complete beginner. However, it's a great review for the novice who has already learned the basics and could use some more advice. The finished projects are especially attractive. We would be pleased to have any one of them in our own garden. Hard cover, 128 pages, Sterling Publishing.
