Product Description

This 2-7/8" diameter cap is recommended for use on the top of the lamp base to allow the heat generated by the light bulb to escape. Even though the wattage of the bulb is low, a ventilated cap will keep things cooler and lengthen the life of the bulb. Solid cast brass, polished to a mirror finish.
