These large pieces of 3/16" glass have finished edges, and each have three sheaves of wheat deeply etched into them.
We can imagine them being used as the centerpiece of a larger stained glass or fine woodworking project. Or simply lay them flat on your dining table and use them as large, handsome trivets.
Two sizes: 5-3/8" x 14" and 5-1/4" x 20". | This is one of those Weird Glass Things we keep finding more of in our basement. We thought we'd seen the last of them, but an especially curious employee has come across another stash, so we are making it available once again.
It is a 1/8" thick piece of window glass which has an incised star burst in the center. You could use this as the centerpiece of a hanging panel by adding a border of colored glass. You could use four of them as the sides of a box for trinkets, or one as a cover for a jewelry box (or jewellery box, for you Brits). The uses are innumerable.
3-1/2" x 3-3/4", 1/8" thick. $0.25 |
 3/16" thick, with 1/2" bevel. $1.35, 13 for $14.95, 145 for $142.10 | 1/4" thick, with 1" bevel. $4.15 |
#0241 can be made into a complete 6-panel lampshade. The dimensions are 3" across the top, 6" across the bottom, and 7-7/16" high. The top comes together in the shape of a hexagon with a 6 inch width. You can etch each panel with monograms, floral decorations or special subject matter to suit your mood or the inclination of that special person for whom you will make a special lampshade. A six-panel lamp shade will give the best proportion. $0.50 | $0.10 |

This is not a beveled piece at all. It is simply a piece of 1/8" thick glass cut to the shape indicated, and which can be combined to make a dish or bowl by assembling it with copper foil. You will have to supply and furnish the bottom of the bowl, which can be of almost any color glass. The bowl can be used for displaying ornamental flowers or other oddments as the spirit moves. At this price, the spirit should have no trouble getting a leg on.
4-1/4"/3-1/4".x 5" $0.25 | This would make a nice box lid, or perhaps use it as part of a pressed-flower display. It's thicker than the typical 1/8" glass -- it's more like 4mm thick -- and has a smooth (but not bevelled) edge. $0.10 |
This glass bevel is part of a large collection of beveled pieces which appear in one of our supplements and which is in such ample supply that we thought that you might be interested in developing some projects in which to use it. The overall size is 8" x 4-1/4", and there are two 1/4" holes drilled through it to accommodate whatever you might have in mind. These are nice clean, sharply delineated pieces with a mitered star burst engraved into the surface. One suggestion would be to use it as a box lid, with knobs occupying the two holes Ideas are sure to pop into your mind as soon as you see the prices at which they are offered. $0.10 | These large pieces of 3/16" glass have finished edges, and each have three sheaves of wheat deeply etched into them.
