Cast Brass Vented Vase Caps

The advantage of these vase caps is that they allow the heat that usually builds up under the lampshade to escape, thereby lessening the likelihood of glass cracking and also adding to the life of the bulb. Most genuine Tiffany lampshades were equipped with a ventilated vase cap. There are stamped brass vase caps available on the market which are much lighter weight than these caps, but at higher prices. Why not have the best at lower prices? Why not indeed! The caps can be darkened with any of several patinas. We recommend #7357 Brass Black.
