These Zodiac Signs on Opaque jet Black Glass are painted in gold pirontery. The stones are 30 x 40 mm, or roughly 1-1/8" x 1-1/2". They fit into standard jewelry findings that will enable you to insert them into such findings, and then attach a neck chain. They of course can be wrapped with copper foil and incorporated into any small presentation piece, jewelry box cover or similar project.
We are closing out this offering because we have sold out several of the Zodiac Stones, and cannot replenish our supply. This is because the workers who heretofore spent years in acquiring the skills to produce these stones are no longer interested in the work. Those erstwhile workers were apprentices who were raised from early youth to this sort of endeavor. The country from which we obtained these Zodiac Stones is now involved in more Meaningful Things, and the apprentices are at the core of those efforts.
"Why are certain of the stones no longer available?" we hear you ask. The reason that they are no longer available is that we sold many more stones of those signs than the others. The reason we sold more stones of those certain ones is that there are more people born under those signs than under the others and consequently the demand was greater.
