This miniature production iron weighs only 2-1/2 ounces! This remarkable 60 watt iron was developed for continuous production soldering and LONG LIFE. Comfortable, hand-conforming handle, lightweight, rapid heating and recovery all contribute to the ease of use. All parts, including the element, are readily removed and are replaceable. The element has 3 layers of chrome mica and two layers of chrome nickel resistance wire. The core is machined from solid bar stock. It has ceramic insulators and nickel wire leads. This is a professional production iron built for professional results. This is a general purpose tool which can be used on lampshade work (with lead or copper foil), on small ornaments, and on windows using came up to 5/16" wide. Length, including tip, 9 inches.
