Morton Portable Glass Shop and Accessories

New! The long-awaited replacement to the discontinued Morton cutting surfaces, the Mini Surface Plus (SS02P) is a modular set of surfaces, sold in pairs, that can be assembled and rearranged a number of ways, thus allowing you to enjoy the advantages of a small, medium, or large surface, depending on your needs.

The Morton Surfaces, as you may know, are hard molded plastic surfaces that are smooth on one side and have a 1/2" grid on the other. The grid system allows you to add innumerable devices and jigs to help you cut glass more easily and accurately. The grids also aid in cleanup, because they catch many of the tiny glass shards that inevitably fly about whilst you cut glass.

These panels are designed to work with the Morton Portable Glass Shop and their Circle cutting systems

New features like a reversible Squaring Fence for regular and thin art glass, cool new fixtures like the fast angles, both metric and inch scales and audio support makes the PG01B a must have for art glass enthusiasts.

Morton circle systems work with the Morton Cutting Surfaces to allow you to cut curved borders and circles.

Five glass stops (those yellow blocks) for the Morton Portable Glass Shop (PG01B). The Glass Stops make it easy to save critical size settings while working on a project. It's the kind of thing you can never have enough of.

The Morton Fence Extension (PG02B) adds 5" to the Squaring Fence in the Portable Glass Shop (PG01B), and can be placed on either side. The PG02B comes with two rulers for options of left or right handed and inch or metric scales.

A 31-inch straight edge for the Morton Portable Glass Shop (PG01B). This bar expands the capacity of the Glass Shop so that you will be able to cut larger sheets of glass. Usually used with the Morton Maxi Surface (LS01).

The Morton Glass Shop Assembly Tray (PG-05) makes the assembly of geometric dimensional shapes easy. Triangles, squares and pentagons are easily assembled into jewelry boxes, lamps, paperweights and more. Instructions for eight exciting projects are included.

If you decide to experiment with the use of the Mini-Surface as a Bingo board, as did the folks in Hellespont, Miss., you will want to have a suitable container for your jelly beans. A decahedronal shape is perfect for a jelly bean dish, and you can make one quite easily on the Morton Glass Shop Assembly Tray. You might also want to make a matching octahedron-shaped ash tray.

These six durable plastic holders plug into the Morton Surface and keep the cutters, pencils, thermometers, scalpels etc. handy and poised for emergency use.
