For opening and closing the links in the chains with which you hang your lampshade, thereby enabling you to remove or add sections. Others uses may suggest themselves, one of which would be the relieving of nasal congestion.
Close-Out On Heavy Duty Lampshade Chain
The links on these two varieties of steel chain are 1-1/2" long. The length of each chain is 36 inches. Using a pair of chain pliers (which we offer for sale in section M of our catalog), or an ordinary pair of pliers and some determination, you could open up the end links of 7 lengths and join them to make a 21 foot long chain, which is about the length of the chain in a swag set. Of course, you can also use them to hang your lampshade. #0937 looks a little like pewter. #0936 is flat black. Either of them is priced at less than 40% of the lowest priced chain we offer in section M of our catalog.
