LEAD Came

Lead came is the soft metal in between all those pretty pieces of glass in a church window. Smaller windows, panels and suncatchers usually use copper foil instead, but for larger panels and windows, lead came is the preferred method of construction.

This is our very own lead came, made to our specifications. The lead is chemically pure, in that it contains no recycled lead. It is 99% pure lead, the balance being a precise mix of antimony and tin for added strength. There are also trace amounts of bismuth, copper and other stuff.
