This 2-hour class session is 8 weeks long, held on Saturday mornings from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon beginning September 7, 2013 at our Rockland MA store.
This course is designed for those who have already taken our regular stained glass classes (copper foil method), or have equivalent experience, and would like to expand their skills to include lead construction. You must already know how to cut glass, use a glass grinder and do basic soldering.
All basic tools and and some materials are supplied for the Basic Lead class. Additional materials may be purchased at a 10% student discount rate. In addition, each week a special store discount will be offered exclusively for students. You can easily cover the cost of the course with the money saved with these discounts. This is a special 4-week session for those advanced students who just can't wait until the fall session begins. Classes are held on Mondays either 11am-1pm, or 6:30-8:30pm, at our Rockland MA store, beginning August 8. Please use the Comment field to indicate which session you plan on attending.
Some glass cutting and soldering experience necessary. Students will be required to purchase their own supplies due to the variety of projects undertaken. Full details can be found in this stained glass class brochure (PDF).
