These green tinted glasses are specially coated to filter out some of the infra-red and ultra-violet light as you peer inside the kiln. They will help protect your eyes from heat. They reduce glare and make it easier to see what's going on in there. It is the best brush available for applying kiln wash, or primer, because it carries lots of the stuff in one load, and produces a very smooth coat.
