As mentioned elsewhere, this reducing bushing is used when it is necessary to attach items which are threaded 1/8 I.P. to items which are threaded 1/4-27. It is a good idea to have several of these on hand, because conditions such as we have just described are apt to pop up anytime, especially when you expect it the least.
