Where is my package? The status link doesn't work.
We know the status link doesn't work. We're sorry about that. It's a technical issue we'd be happy to explain, but you probably don't want to hear the details. Please call us or send us an email and we'll be happy to track your package.
Do you charge a boxing fee for shipping glass?
No. For all our packages, glass or otherwise, we charge you what UPS charges us, plus a small handling fee (50 cents, a dollar, or thereabouts). One exception is zinc or lead. If you want your zinc or lead to be shipped in straight, 6-foot lengths, we have to charge you an extra $12 to cover the extra charge from UPS and the special packaging.
I bought a few glass jewels, and the shipping charge is outrageously high! What gives??
UPS has a pretty high minimum charge, so whenever we get an order that's small enough, we ship it via U.S. Postal Service instead. We then reduce your shipping costs accordingly. Sometimes we tell you ahead of time, sometimes we just quietly do it, and hope you will be pleasantly surprised (if you even notice). We are not able to offer U.S. Postal Service as a shipping option at this time, for technical reasons not worth going into.
Oh no! I made a mistake!! I didn't mean to buy 100 Glass Grinders! I used a debit card so now I'll be overdrawn! Woe is me!!
Ok, take a deep breath.
We don't charge your card until we are ready to ship. However, we do authorize your card at the time of your original purchase. So, your first step is to tell us about your mistake so we can void the authorization. Then tell your bank. They might put a hold on that amount for 7-14 days. They might cancel the transaction.
