Zinc Came

You can now buy zinc came for use in any project which needs extra stiffness. Suggested uses are outer framing members for free-standing or hanging panels; panels used in doors; skylights (where building codes allow); and certain lighting fixtures. It solders readily to both lead and copper. Prices are for 6-foot lengths, but we will cut the zinc into 3-foot lengths for shipping. If you want intact 6-foot lengths, please select, "Special Packing for Long Items" when ordering zinc, to cover the extra costs of special packing materials and higher UPS shipping charges.

Due to recent issues with the postal service regarding shipments of zinc and lead, we recommend using UPS instead of USPS for shipping if your purchase contains any lead or zinc.
