Go Baroque with Whittemore-Durgin



Hundreds of thousands of stenciled glass pieces were used in stained glass windows during the latter 19th and early 20th centuries. Many can be seen today in older churches. Should you chance to attend a wedding or funeral soon be sure to inquire of the Sexton.

Drawing on our large collection of sample boxes of old stenciled glass pieces, we have designed a series of compatible pieces that we modestly allege to be of far superior workmanship than the originals. We also believe our original designs to be first rate.

Whittemore-Durgin's Baroques can transform any stained glass window project completely. Baroques can be used as borders or accent pieces to "set off" a central theme, or they can be used in solid masses because many of the designs are interlocking.

Pastel shades of 1/8" cathedral glass are used throughout (except for ruby) so that the tracery is shown in vivid contrast. By wrapping any one of them in lead or copper foil, an ornate window ornament can be produced at low cost.
