Now you can recycle all of those glass bottles and jars that accumulate around the house, and turn them into useful planters, terrariums, pencil holders, bowls and candle holders.

This bottle cutter can cut bottles and jars of various shapes and sizes. You push the bottle against a scoring wheel while turning the bottle. Then you tap the bottle repeatedly from the inside using a metal device provided in the kit.

The main contraption is made of plastic so it can seem a little flimsy, but it does work, with some practice. At least one of our customers says it works great for him. Another customer returned it. Go figure.

Note that this is not a motorized gizmo; you must turn the bottle or jar by hand (which was the main complaint of the person who returned it).
