Glass Nuggets (or Globs)

GLASS GLOBS, or "Nuggets" if you prefer a more elegant term. These are oval to circular glass drops with a flat back. No two are exactly alike, because they are made in somewhat the same way cookies are made, on a sheet in an oven. (We have tried to eliminate the raisins however, and give you 100% glass.)

They are clear colors (expect for the black and white ones),and transmit an even brilliance when held in the light. They are easily wrapped in lead came, and add greatly to the appearance of hanging ornaments when used as berries, eyeballs, and the like. In some ornaments they take the place of bodies and heads on birds, bugs, and other friends from the forest. In lampshade work the larger ones serve as grapes, cherries and crowd scenes at bull fights.

SIZES like snowflakes, no two globs are alike. The sizes listed therefore, are nominal. The actual sizes are as follows:

3/8" Globs - 3/8" to 1/2"
9/16" Globs - 5/8" to 7/8"
1" Globs - 1" to 1-1/2"

WE WILL NOT select special sizes or special shapes to fill orders. Our very low prices are based on bulk orders of factory run quality, and we sell only BY THE POUND, as scooped from our bins.

The number of globs per pound may vary from time to time and from color to color. You should expect, however, a count of something like this:

3/8" Globs - 150 to 225
9/16" Globs - 100 to 125
1" Globs - 20 to 28

All nuggets are translucent except the black and the white ones, which are completely opaque.
